| Calvary Baptist Church is situated on
19 acres west of downtown Winston-Salem
at the intersection of Country Club
Rd and Peace Haven Rd. There are
five main buildings that form a "V"
from the intersection along the
two roads. The church sanctuary
is located where the two sides meet. |

| Upon exiting your car in one of our parking lots (if you are a visitor, you may park up close in spots reserved just for you), you will walk along our courtyard toward the center of the buildings and into our main lobby. On your way in, you just might happen to see a group of children on their way to doing something fun
|
| The main lobby was recently expanded when the Adult Education Building was built in 1993. Information about upcoming events is available, as well as sign-up opportunities for ministries, breakfasts, concert tickets, and other information needs. Sermon tapes may also be purchased at the tape booth. A new addition to the lobby is The Great Commission Resource Center. Here you will find information concerning local, national and international mission opportunities as well as information on missionaries throughout the world.

| From the main lobby, you will enter the sanctuary. Calvary's sanctuary is of course the heart of our worship activities. The sanctuary was occupied in June of 1973. It was renovated and the balcony area opened in 1988. The seating capacity is 2,200 and there are currently three worship services on Sunday mornings.

| As you leave the sanctuary you will again pass through the main lobby as you make your way to the classrooms. If your classroom is on the 2nd floor (Level 2000), you may find yourself walking along this passageway that overlooks the main lobby.

| Meeting and speaking to others in our hallways is a favorite Calvary activity. The hallways are up to 12 feet wide to allow for easy traffic flow.

| While you are in the worship service or in your adult Bible Fellowship class, your children are being given first-class attention by people who love children and consider them their ministry. Most of the activities for our children are located in the Children's Building. The children of Calvary learn of the love of Christ in their own language, by people who not only teach with words but who demonstrate love by their actions as well.
|
| The atrium is a favorite place for our preschoolers. The large three-story space with floor to ceiling windows provide just the "outdoor" environment to have fun in any type of weather.

| Another great place to blow off some youthful energy is the newly renovated playground next to the Children's Building.
